Redmap magnified at the Festival of Bright Ideas

Kids enjoyed being citizen scientists and looking through a microscope at the Redmap display - and holding marine life at the Institute for Marine and Antarcic Studies display - all part of the Festival of Bright Ideas on the weekend!

Check out the photos of the Festival of Bright Ideas in Hobart. Kids lined up to become citizen scientists and drive a microscope at the Redmap stall. The Science Week event attracted over 5,000 enthusiastic kids and parents interested in all types of science displays from marine science to robotics, chemistry and wildlife conservation.

School groups also learnt about the Redmap project.
