A well known NSW coastal reef species present from southern Queensland to Victoria. Adults are considered rare but present in the Bass Strait, around King Island.
These would be a good fish for kissing as they have big lips! Not recommended though. The adult morwong is very plain, no marking, blotches or patterns just a light silvery blue with blue tail fins. Juveniles will have a dark blotch on the side.
